Is The Old Testament Irrelevant?

old testament

An old heresy is being revived in the church today. It teaches that the Old Testament is finished, no longer relevant for believers. It compounds this error by teaching the Book of Revelation has already taken place. This heresy could cost you your salvation!

Without the end-time prophecy and moral law (Ten Commandments) and understanding of God’s position on the Jew and Israel that we gain from the Old Testament, we will look like, smell like and act like the world. Without understanding of the biblical Feasts, we will not be ready for the return of the Lord. The first Feasts pointed toward the first coming of Jesus. The fall Feasts foreshadow His return!

The Hebrew word translated “convocation” in Leviticus 23 referring to the biblical Feasts, should be translated “rehearsals.” The fall Feasts are dress rehearsals for His return. The end-time prophecies in the Old Testament have come true 100% of the time. Now the remaining one-third of Old Testament prophecies that have not yet been fulfilled are ready to come to pass. Even the New Testament letter written by Timothy referring to the ONLY Bible the first church had, says, “ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Tim. 3:16).

Guess who gains by removing these end-time prophetic books?

The trump card for why the Book of Revelation has NOT already come to pass is the date it was written. Those who believe it was all fulfilled in AD 70 must deal with the conclusive historical evidence that John wrote the book after AD 90!

The major purpose of these end-time heresies is to have you so ignorant of end times that you will be deceived and NOT be on God’s side. I often wondered why God’s Word said in Matthew 24:12 (NAS), “Because lawlessness [Scripture-lessness/Old and New Testament] is increased, MOST people’s love will grow cold.”

  1. Reblogged this on SWORD OF TRUTH and commented:
This is fact the whole WORD IS Relevant today. Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Trying to make this truth known to others who were brought up with one doctrine, is one of the hardest jobs the King has given His servants and messengers, but, we keep ringing that bell to wake them up. As the King gathers His lost sheep, who were not lost to Him, but lost to our selves, He is bringing us all back to remembrance of who we are and where we came from. It has always been our mission before the foundation of this world and for the times we are in now that He has given us this job. He does not want any to perish. My fellow brethren have rejected the truth as history is unveiled and the truth be known.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Torah is relevant. It teaches us how to keep our flesh healthy. It teaches us the Law of the Father. It teaches us about sexuality. It teaches us about moral Values. The Father has always been specific about everything, from the Holy of Holy’s, to building the ark and even the priestly garments that were worn. He does not Change! Yet mere men have made changes that reflect on us today as many continue in the world abiding by traditions of men and the laws they created. We ought to OBEY our Heavenly Father, Rather then men.

  2. It never ceases to amaze me how some Christians just pick and choose what parts of the Bible to believe. Thank you for this post revealing truth in the Holy Scripture!
